Happy Sunday, friends! Welcome to Weekly Devotions for Women.<\/strong><\/p>\n As I write this weekly devotions for women, I have been sitting for what seems like hours, in the quite, and watching the snow fall.<\/p>\n Rarely can we enjoy it for this long. <\/p>\n The gentle flakes floating down without stopping…fireplaces puffing out smoke, wind whipping up drifts on houses….all are rare in Texas.<\/p>\n So, please do not make fun of us with our fascination and a touch of glee.<\/p>\n At this time on Saturday, we are still facing an ice storm…that is the tough part.<\/p>\n But, for now in the peace of the moment the snow brings me back to my Heavenly Father.<\/p>\n An amazing, creative God who has made a diverse world of seasons, animals, people, stars and….snowflakes<\/em>…each one unique…how incredible is that?<\/p>\n I am pondering how we are snowflakes within this vast creation…..<\/p>\n WEEKLY DEVOTIONS FOR WOMEN: UNIQUE IN EVERY DAY<\/strong><\/p>\n This is my Bible…and I want to share with you the two pages I have studied the most since I accepted Christ into my Heart at age 25….47 years ago!<\/p>\n God has made each of us unique women and we are to celebrate our differences…however, he has also given us guidelines in Proverbs 31:10-31 of how He desires that we all have noble character.<\/strong><\/p>\n And to God, noble character is “worth far more than rubies.”<\/em><\/p>\n The Proverbs 31 woman is even ready for the snow!<\/p>\n Throughout my life, I have set these traits of a woman with noble character as personal goals.<\/p>\n Praying specifically over every trait and verse for my life.<\/strong><\/p>\n This woman is smart, compassionate, diligent, industrious, wise, influential, efficient , strong, dignified and kind.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Strength and Dignity are what God has chosen for her wardrobe…and I love that fact that she laughs and has joy from her strength and preparedness.<\/p>\n After I accepted Christ and desired changes in my life, I would often return to Proverbs 31. <\/p>\n I wrote down each verse to practice and memorize, and studied each word. I also enjoyed reading the section in different translations of the Bible.<\/p>\n I wanted to experience God in powerful ways and He lead me to focus and pray over Proverbs 31.<\/p>\n Of course, there were difficult times, but I still believed following her example of these noble traits that I would persevere through anything…and God has seen me through.<\/p>\n I would love to meet this woman some day and thank her for walking with me through my life.<\/p>\n While I know we are different and unique, we respect, love and worship the same God.
