I am not generally a fan of slip-on shoes, but I've been wearing the Ryka Echo for several years, after a friend at church recommended them. I love them and have them in black, olive, plum, navy and camel. I would buy additional colors if I see them. I did find that they run slightly large, so I wear a half-size smaller than my usual 9 in these. They are also washable, which is a plus for me. Once you know your sizing, you can often find them on eBay or at Marshall's and other discount retailers.

I hope your recovery is going well and that you are snug in your cozy recliner on this icy Texas day!

Like Cindy, I have neuropathy and arthritis and wide feet. For some reason, Orthofeet don’t seem to fit my feet. I have a lot of Skechers but have switched to Easy Spirit as they have more color choices and styles in 7W. For long walks with our dog, I wear my Brooks run/walk sneakers. I pretty much live in wool socks and ES Travelfurr clogs. Love them. I also have a high arch so the arch support is a necessity in shoes. Some of the Skechers slip in shoes have too high a heel for me and are uncomfortable. How sweet that your Mr.B helps you with your warm socks. It was 3 degrees when I got up today! We only got a dusting of snow but the cold dry air takes your breath away. Stay cozy and warm everyone!

Good morning! I have back problems and occasionally hip and knee issues (probably because of my back) so I wear the orthofeet sneakers almost exclusively for day to day wear. I think I have every color. Even my husband wears them now. They are so comfortable and have great support, some styles are better than others for my feet. At 78 they help keep me moving comfortably, they help with balance too. The only draw back is their styles in shoes/sandals aren’t great. I do have the suede loafers and like those otherwise I have mostly sneakers. They aren’t cheap but worth the money for me. In the future I would like to try some of the brands you have mentioned.

Shoes that work are like jeans that work. Our feet all have different shapes and issues so its great to have such a wide choice. I have a few pair of Easy Spirit and I love them especially the dark red suede loafers but for me the fit of Easy Spirit shoes has been about 50% hit or miss. I have a high arch and find that Sketchers arch-fit shoes give me the most support and seem made for my foot. They are now combining the arch-fit with slip-ons and I've had excellent luck with those. I recently bought a pair of sneakers that are off white and quilted and they are so comfortable. But this time of year I need boots most days. My Vivia sneaker boots are slip-ons. They are very comfortable. Hope everyone affected by this storm stays warm & safe.

I love Ortho Feet shoes & I have several pair - sandals, loafers & booties. They are super comfy & plantar fasciitis friendly! Each pair comes with 2 sets of insoles & an extra arch support to get a perfect fit.

You’ve given us lots of choices, but because of my foot and polio leg problems, I would walk out of slip-on shoes like these, so I need a shoe where my heel and foot stay in place. I’m so aware of losing my balance and falling so I’m very careful to only wear certain shoes; in fact, I now only wear my lace-up Hoka with my orthotics. I’m am familiar with the Ortho-Feet brand though I have not bought any but my niece recommended them for my planar fasciitis. She bought some for that reason and said she was pain-free as she walked around NYC on her trip.

I certainly trust your eye after your surgery is feeling no pain and hope Texas gets through this cold weather this weekend without power outages.
