Do You Have a Minute?

do you have a minute?

Happy Friday, Friends!  Do you have a minute?

For me, the candles are dark…dishes still remain in the sink (I know, please don’t judge!)….wrapping paper is on the floor…but I do want to ask …do you have a minute?

I am in full blown planning mode for 2026 with so much on my mind, and I need the assistance of this incredible blog community.

I am so thankful for each and every one of you and look forward to our daily visits.

This is why I want to make sure that occasionally I tap into your thoughts and needs.

I am asking do you have a minute to share on these particular topics…..

DO YOU HAVE A MINUTE ABOUT FASHION?

do you have a minute?

After over 16 years of blogging, I know that the majority here are like teens sitting on a bed and planning what to wear to school the next day.

Oh sure, we are much older but still love to talk clothes with our girlfriends.

Over age 50, do you find yourself like one of my granddaughters here and still attempt to hide with fashion and style choices?

I do have some new clothing content on my own mind that I will share soon…but what about you?

Do you have a minute to tell us what you would like to see me discuss this year in regards to clothing?

What would you find most helpful and what do you look forward to seeing from me in this area?

DO YOU HAVE A MINUTE ABOUT THE SECOND HALF OF LIFE?

do you have a minute?

What about topics that will help you look and feel like a young pup in your second half of life?

Are there specific topics about aging that you would like to see me write more about?

I am here for you…to encourage you to look and feel your best every day one day at a time.

This amazing audience is very diverse…some of you are caretakers…some of you are widows…some of you are retired…and some still working hard to make a living.

Some are on the west coast…some are on the east coast…some are in the South…and some are in middle America…while others are anywhere from Australia to the United Kingdom.

So, I know there are many and diverse needs…please share what would assist you the most.

And remember I am ALWAYS here for you and want to assist in any way that I can.

I do have some ideas to share with you about what is on my mind and how my world is changing…and will do so.

But, I would be remiss not to include you in the planning…let me know…

Do You Have A Minute? to share what is on your mind?

NOTE:  I JUST HEARD FROM SOME OF YOU IN EMAIL…IF ANYONE ELSE WOULD LIKE TO EMAIL YOUR THOUGHTS, PLEASE SEND TO: [email protected]!

I look forward to hearing from you….now back to the chaos of the day after Christmas…may we all…

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. Pamela I so enjoy your blog. The fashion. The recipes and the devotionals. I wondered if you might be able to provide me with the contact for the basket maker you featured some time back. I would love to order from her. Thank you so very much;

  2. Of course I enjoy the fashion, the trends you feature, how you elevate every day outfits with unique accessories, especially how you combine various items from your closet as well as recommendations. I love the Sunday devotions and the Monday look into your week. I’m interesting in all topics relating to health and how we can continue to be our best as we navigate aging. I enjoy exploring Abilene and the surrounding areas with you. I’m very interesting in learning about you new ideas and how your world is changing. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas with your family.

  3. I checked early this morning and didn’t see your daily blog. Now I am in recovery mode, it is almost 10 at night, and I can’t think. I hope you give us some time to comment. My mind is on overload! I hope everyone had a good day.

  4. Of course, Deborah…I was late this morning with the post. Get some rest and take as much time as you need!

  5. I like the mixture of content you’ve been following lately: the Sunday devotional (please keep!), the Monday look at what’s going on in your life, the fashion ( both your own personal looks & the shopping featured) and the recipes and peek into Abilene and your part of Texas. The only thing I can think of you might consider adding from time to time is a look at hairstyles, hair color and hair products. Happy New Year!

  6. Hi Pamela

I like your fashion because I like your idea of looking your best every day. I have become lazy and it inspires me. You look fashionable which is what I would like to see in myself. I like when you show us what is new. I like your home decor ideas. I like your devotionals. I like when you discuss health issues as I am the same age as you, so I relate. I like hearing about San Antonio.

  7. Thanks so much Janet. I never want to be deceptive with products represented. I am contacted often about hair brands for thinning hair…but my hair is still thick and healthy…so I would not want to say that I know these products work, but I could inform you about what is on the market for thinning hair and I could inform you of what I am using for my thicker…often frizzy hair. so I will ponder how best to do that.

  8. Hi Pam! I read your blog every day, and enjoy it immensely. My thoughts on topics: aging in place; level up a minimalist style; maintaining creativity; cooking for two; colorful capsule wardrobe; swedish death cleaning; organizing around a clutterbug spouse. Just some thoughts, thanks you for asking!

  9. I had to laugh, Lisa…because I am the clutterbug spouse! Looking up Swedish death cleaning…no idea what that is. Thanks for some great ideas.

  10. The older I get , 70+, harder it is to do makeup. I either look bare faced or like I’ve tried too hard. And my hands don’t work as well as they used to. Neither do my eyes!!! Tips for minimalist makeup that easy to apply would be helpful. Suggestions for Light products for older skin would be helpful too.

  11. Thank you, Jane. I can do this for you and will make sure I cover it soon. This is something else that I might see differently after cataract surgery so I might wait and cover it in February. Thank you for sharing your ideas

  12. Best hair styles and affordable hair products for grey or white hair, especially if thick, coarse, and curly. How to determine a reasonable price point with retailers due to all the mark ups. Thrift store shopping tips. How to navigate feeling invisible at times as we age, even with family members although unintentional. Being meaningful to our children and grandchildren beyond being a source of help.

  13. Love your blog and am always interested in what your readers have to say. How about a blog now and then with questions and answers from readers? I am thinking about what fashions are a fad like very wide pants and what are keepers. Thank you, Pam.

  14. Thank you, Jill…there is so much wisdom in this audience and I learn from all every post. That is a great idea.

  15. I’m dealing with a lot of skin break-outs right now. Maybe some discussion on light masks?
    Fashion Silhouette discussions.

  16. Hi Pam,
I’m time starved right now, do grind and feeling the need to say something to you.
Do as the majority of your readers want you to do.
Love the pic of your granddaughter and your fur baby, just precious.
