Soft Surroundings is one of several brands which offers different shades of red, and you will find even more in the collection.

The first picture in the post today shows the ZIPHONY OTTOMON KNIT COWL TOP in Regal Red.  I love the way they styled it with the black pants and leopard sneakers.

This second top is so flattering and lovely.  It is the MADELINE TUNIC I in Moroccan Red…and styled with the PIPPA PENDANT NECKLACE.

It is available in other colors.

This design also works for a flattering dress.

It is the MARLA DRESS in a Cabernet and on a final sale at $24.97 and there are sizes still left in Misses, Petites, and Women’s.

  1. Great lineup. My grandson is getting baptized today, and I’m wearing a “geranium” (HOC name for a fiery warm red, one of my wow colors) sweater blazer with my bright lip! Of course, I love the red clay color you are showing today … much more in my comfort zone. My HOC consultant told us that everyone, in any palette, can wear true red. It’s the only color that works for every season. I find on line that it’s hard to see sometimes though if a red has a smidge of blue. You would think that if the name has “ruby” in it, it’s a bluer red, but of course, the names mean so little nowadays.

  2. What lovely selections of reds…and many appear to be blue-reds which we winters should look for. When I was still teaching, my high school’s colors were red and black so for many years ( 28) my family teased me because if I bought something new it most often was red and black. However, I’ve now unfortunately outgrown many of those items so will be looking at your selections.

I wrote a comment yesterday which I think disappeared. I just wanted to say that I’m glad you too experienced no pain with your cataract surgery, but only anxiety since this surgery was on your eyes. We can’t help but worry when anything affects our eyes. The doctor may have told you that sometimes some growth appears on your new lens and there is a procedure called “ YAG” where a laser zaps the growth. If that happens as it did on one of my eyes, again the procedure is painless…but still some anxiety since it’s your eye.
Happy Valentine’s Day! My sweet Mr. B paid to have a song written about our lives together for 57 years and he sent it to me last night. What a dear surprise!

  3. Have fun today, Linda…you will be the amazing Grandmother in red. I know the names can be challenging..they are for me. I just assume that something like red clay is warmer with browns…thanks for starting your day off here.

  4. First off Celia…the song?? How special is that! Good for your Mr. B! And yes they did explain the YAG thing to me and said it would be a part of what regular checkups are looking for.
    Happy Valentine’s!

  5. Happy Valentines Day to you, Pam, and to all! Hope your day is sweet. Red is my favorite color, and I love dresses. You have a beautiful selection here.

  6. Thanks for letting me know. Several did not like it, but I might consider it once a month. It is so helpful when you let me know

  7. Happy Valentine’s Day. A great day to feature red. I hope you happy with your new hair color? Looking forward to seeing it & your new glasses.

  8. The sale at JCP on your My Shop was great! I got four short sleeve tees and a pair of white capris getting ready for warmer weather at least in my mind. I don’t care for red and don’t wear it. I live in tees so I appreciate the opportunity to buy at wonderful prices! Happy Valentines Day everyone!
